Peggy Hrinkdak
President/CEO/Owner Peggy Hrindak started Phoenix Business Solutions LLC in April of 2000. Under her day-to-day leadership, Phoenix has experienced continued growth expanding services from a communications contractor to specializing in the installation of all low voltage systems. Peggy’s experience started from the ground up beginning as an operations manager overseeing 80 plus Local 134 technicians for an IBEW electrical contractor. Her vast experience, networking capabilities and commitment to the industry has allowed Phoenix to expand to the successful company it is today. Peggy currently serves as Chair of the ASA Chicago Past Presidents Council as well as Chair of the ECA Communications Committee. She is also a member of the Federation of Women Contractors.
Accounting Manager
Laura Nielsen
Laura Nielsen has been with Phoenix for over 20 years. Her responsibilities include payroll, union reports, and billing as well as assisting the Operations Department. She is an asset to the daily operation of the company.

Mary Beth Jender
Mary Beth Jender is the newest member of the team. She brings over 20 years of accounting experience in the construction industry. She helps monitor and analyze the company’s financial accounts, and will help support the President in overseeing the company’s financial strategy.

Nick Banasiak
Nick oversees all operations for the Chicagoland area as well as the surrounding counties and has experience working with our national clients. He works extensively with the project managers and estimators to best meet the needs of our customers. With 25 years of experience and many industry certifications, he has provided our key customers with many aspects of their technology needs from consulting/design to implementing installation and servicing the clients future needs.

Brian Patterson
Brian Patterson oversees the company’s transportation sector. He specializes in client projects such as CTA, O’Hare International Airport, and Midway International Airport along with clients in other industries. His endless hours of dedication to these accounts and projects makes our company stand out amongst the rest.

Jim Kapusitak
With over 37 years’ experience, Jim Kapusitak brings a lot of knowledge to the table. Working on projects with either the end user or general contractor, he is involved with all aspects of the job from start to finish.
Assistant Project Manager
Rick Johnston
Rick has worked in the ICT industry for the past six years. He holds a BICSI RCDD certification. In his past experiences, he has worked with several different customers that fall into different verticals; healthcare, data centers, higher education, industrial, and K-12. Working hand and hand with customers to deliver reliable IT solutions. Rick graduated from Ball State University and holds a B.S. in Marketing. He is a current member of the Electrical Contractors Association (ECA).

Katie Drozdek
From the field to the office, Katie is now assisting on large projects within our transportation sector. She has a vast knowledge of these projects, along with other projects in our education and health care divisions. She brings years of knowledge and great organizational skills to the Operations team.

Brian Richardson
Brian Richardson is an asset to the company as our Superintendent. He goes above and beyond the call of duty every day. Whether he is managing man power, or reviewing drawings for a project, he is always supporting the operations of the Company.
